Snapshot Tutorial by Papabare2024 (edited by Meche) So you want to get a good shot of a Sim bending over, grabbing ass, or slipping a hand down south to further modern artistic expression as we know it? You are not alone, fifteen minutes after the Sims 2 was released worldwide the perv-a-thon began - all to further the sublime intentions of a meaningful family photo album. So, Sim poses are limited to those contained within the animation files (although cracking this is well underway). Too an extent this has been addressed by objects like "Emotion on Demand" (http://forums.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=17171). More complex staged snaps are going to require more planning so editing the user config to shorten startup cheats is in order (http://mikeinside.modthesims2.com/hacks/cheats.html). Editing the config will make your whole life easier. True story, assholes will stop being assholes and God himself will grow a pair. Mostly, though, you'll only have to type in shortened versions (of your choice) of any cheat as well as have some pre-entered when you start the game so that you don't have to turn on the 45 degree angle cheat every time. It's important here to get the move_objects on cheat shortened since it's a major player in this pastime. The additions will also appear in the expanded window when you hit Ctrl+Shift+C and type "help" so you don't have to write them down. Depending on your intentions the basic setup is usually an object that has a suggestive action like "warm self" from the fire place. Begin the action, pause at your favorite part, engage your move objects cheat, and move the Sim to a place on the lot better served to get your deep deep thought across. Pausing two times moves the action along one frame. Fine tuning begins with the "boolprop snapObjectstoGrid false" cheat. This allows you to move a Sim without having to adhere to their original placement. This can also be used with most furniture during normal gameplay but take it easy and remember to turn the cheats off when you are finished with them.
